"Lessons To Be Learned"

A very wise and wonderful woman once wrote, "There are no mistakes, only lessons."  The more I experience and the longer I live, the more I understand and resonate with that statement.  We all do things which we look back on later and go, "Now, why on Earth did I do that?"  Sure, we may all question some of the things which we do and say, but ultimately, no matter how an experience may look to us in hindsight, we always have a wonderful opportunity to learn from our past lessons.  In my own case, something that I often learn and continue to learn is to curb my impulsive tongue.  More times than I'd care to admit, I speak thoughtlessly before I think, and it leads to my having learned some very important lessons.  The good thing about lessons is that, eventually, they start making sense and forming more clarity and positive patterns within our lives.  Due to these lessons that I've learned about my impulsive speaking, I fortunately do it a lot less than I once did.  So it is with any lesson... we can learn from it, and thanks to it, can begin making positive changes or adjustments within our lives, thoughts and attitudes.

So, be grateful for all the lessons within your life... think about them, learn from them, and allow them to help you to shape yourself towards being the brightest light possible!

Namaste!
